Barcelona ready to let Thiago join Manchester United

Barcelona are ready to let Thiago Alcantara join Manchester United this summer as soon as they have found a suitable replacement. United have been pushing to conclude a deal for top target Thiago for months, and are now in pole position to finally land their man.
Barca have previously been unwilling to part with the 20-year-old, but at a meeting last week he made it clear he wants out unless he is guaranteed regular match time.
Tito Vilanova has been unable to promise that, and the Barca manager is now willing to sanction his sale – but only after a replacement has been found.

Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan is the top target, while Atletico Mineiro youngster Bernard is also under consideration.
Barcelona are expected to ramp up the push for a new midfielder by the weekend while they wait for United to come back to them with a suitable fee.
