ARSENAL are on the verge of finalising a move for Auxerre striker Yaya Sanogo, boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed.

France Under-21 international Sanogo has scored eight goals in seven games this season, with four of those appearances coming as a substitute.His current deal expires in this summer and reports in France suggest he has turned down a host of clubs to agree a four-year deal with the Gunners.Wenger refuted suggestions it was a done deal but admitted a move was close to being complete
The Arsenal boss said: "It is in the advanced stages but it is not done."Auxerre will be entitled to compensation from Arsenal as 6ft 3ins Sanogo, who is renowned for his technical ability, is under the age of 23.
