The Daily Star continues to have all the inside scoops related to England’s top clubs, and once again has found sources where no man has gone before.
It is no secret that Bayern Munich are coveting Arsenal’s midfield sensation Jack Wilshere with Pep Guardiola keen to work with the young English superstar. The newly crowned European Champions are hoping to extend Arsenal’s ‘sell our best player’ streak into yet another summer by attempting an outrageous bid for the 21 year old England international.
Bayern’s attempts to unsettle Wilshere this season in an effort to make a formal approach in the coming years is a tried and tested approach used by Guardiola’s former club Barcelona, and played a crucial role in them nabbing Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal a couple of seasons ago.
Arsenal have since gone on to sell other stars like Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie and Alex Song, much to the dismay of their fans.
However, the Daily Star has an unnamed inside source at Arsenal, who declared, “We won’t be selling any of our top players this time around and that includes Jack Wilshere. We’ll be adding at least three significant signings.”
