The Rossoneri CEO speaking at the Gazzetta workshop: "The club's position on the coach is clear. You can only balance your books with good results on the pitch." On an eighteen-club league: "No majority in the football association"
The tension may have left his expression, but his tone of voice revealed that Adriano Galliani was still suffering after the Siena match. His AC Milan are in the Champions League(in the preliminary rounds for the time being) and at the Gazzetta workshop on "The type of football we want", the CEO explained the importance of getting third place.
"To keep your books in order you need to get results on the pitch. The difference between the Champions League and the Europa League is enormous," explained the AC Milan CEO. "Non-qualification for a top team is the equivalent to being relegated to Serie B. Third place was what I had been hoping for since the beginning of the season, but let's not forget we are in the qualifying stages. We aren't through to the Champions League yet. It was an incredible struggle to get this far, but we managed it."
