Both Manchester United and Manchester City are interested in bringing unsettled FC Barcelona midfield player Cesc Fabregas back to the Premier League this summer, reports the Daily Mail.

The Spain international has only been in Catalonia for just the two years now, having signed for the Spanish giants from Arsenal for a fee that could rise to as high as 34 million euros in August 2011.
However, it is fair to say that the 26-year-old has not found it easy to settle at Barca since his return to his boyhood club, despite featuring regularly under both previous manager Pep Guardiola and the new man in charge at the club, Tito Vilanova.
Fabregas has netted an impressive 19 goals, as well as registering a further 21 assists, in just 59 Liga contests, while overall the player has recorded 28 strikes and 32 assists in only 95 contests in all competitions for Barcelona.
And now both Manchester giants are set to battle it out when the transfer window opens on 1 July for the coveted playmaker’s signature.
