Real Madrid send Zinedine Zidane to London to broker a deal with Tottenham for £60m forward Gareth Bale whilst Liverpool striker Luis Suarez is eyeing up a move to the Spanish capital club Zidane.

Real’s transfer ambassador, will test Spurs’ resistance to selling their star man with a firm offer. And last night Real were given the clearest indication yet that the door could be open to the summer’s biggest transfer, as Bale’s agent said he would listen to an offer from Madrid.
Real have made the Wales winger their top summer target, after missing out on Brazilian whizkid Neymar, who joined bitter rivals Barcelona this week.
Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett revealed talks have not yet started on the improved deal that was mooted for the 23-year-old in order to persuade him to stay at White Hart Lane – reportedly £165,000 a week – after Spurs failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Barnett last night insisted Bale is a better player than Neymar anyway and if Real president Florentino Perez was interested in the player “that would be a great honour – and we would listen”.
Barnett added: “We are not speaking to anybody. Bale is better than Neymar. He has proved himself better than Neymar. He has proved himself in the best league in the world.
“I would hope that any club who wants him, wants him not because they lost Neymar. I would think he’d have to be their first choice. It’s crazy. But whatever Neymar cost, Gareth Bale is worth more.
