The 25-year-old will join the Reds after five seasons with the
Spanish club, helping his side secure promotion to La Liga in 2012
before scoring 12 goals in 33 top-flight appearances last season.
In the final game of the campaign, he provided his final assist to
Natxo Insa, who scored the goal that would save his club from
relegation.
He has a career total of 61 goals in 233 appearances, and Liverpool
supporters will be hoping that he will add many more as he begins his
new challenge in the Premier League alongside Luis Suarez - if he is to
remain at Anfield - and former Chelsea forward Daniel Sturridge.
Ex-Liverpool assistant manager Paco Herrera has described him as "part Messi part monster".
If Suarez was to leave Aspas will have more pressure on him - and it
will be very interesting to see how the Anfield new boy settles in at
one of the biggest clubs in England.
If he starts the same way as Sturridge did, Liverpool could possibly
be in for a good season - especially if the extremely talented Uruguayan
is still there.
