Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has hinted once again that he would be tempted by a move to Real Madrid, after an interview given on Uruguayan television.
The 26-year-old has recently been linked with a move to the Spanish giants after admitting he would welcome a move abroad away from the English press, who he believes have been unfair on him in his time in the Premier League.
He has spoken in glowing terms specifically about Real Madrid, and he has now spoken of a desire to play alongside their star player Cristiano Ronaldo.
According to Sky Sports, Suarez is quoted as saying: “Of course I would like to play with Cristiano Ronaldo – he’s a great player. You never know, but it’s complicated.”
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken of his desire to keep Suarez, but even he admitted that every player has his price, and Real Madrid are said to be willing to pay as much as £50million for the former Ajax man.
It is unlikely that any major transfers will go through before the club appoint a new manager, but the Bernabeu club have also been linked with big-money moves for Tottenham’s Gareth Bale and Napoli’s Edinson Cavani.
