If Spurs fans thought that things couldn’t get any worse for them after Spanish giants Real Madrid came calling seriously to snap up their mercurial winger Gareth Bale, it now appears that Los Blancos also want Tottenham’s manager Andre Villas-Boas.

AVB’s claims that Tottenham will not sell their star man Bale to Real Madrid could soon turn out to be a thing of the past as it appears that the Portuguese himself is on the most wanted list to replace the grumpy Jose Mourinho at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Popular Spanish Daily AS believes they have got their hands on Real Madrid’s managerial short list for the summer, and Andre Villas-Boas is no.3 on that list behind Carlo Ancelotti, who Paris St. Germain are thus far refusing to release, and German treble winner Jupp Heynckes, who is unfortunate to get the heave ho from Bayern Munich despite such a successful season at the helm.
Tottenham will probably do their best to block a move for Villas-Boas, but should he leave there aren’t too many high quality managers around who could take his place, leaving Spurs in a bit of a conundrum should matters come to a head.
